- Is this a freezer plan?
Yes, it is. The only way to provide the highest quality, naturally raised, locally family-farmed beef pork and poultry at prices at or below grocery store levels is through bulk purchasing. If it could be done some other way, the grocery stores would be doing it rather than selling the inferior product they do now.
- What does it cost?
That depends on the size of your family and how frequently you cook. We have plans to suit almost any size family. Our basic plan (designed for couples who cook 4 or more times per week) is priced at $55 per week. Other plans go up from there. Because you are buying food you are not charged PST or GST.
- Are payment terms available?
Yes - monthly, biweekly, and weekly terms are available at 0% interest.
- How much freezer space will I need?
Again, it depends on the size of your family, how frequently you cook and the customization of your plan. Our basic plan (designed for couples who cook 4 or more times per week) usually requires from 8 to 10 cubic feet of freezer space. Through arrangements with a well known freezer manufacturer we can offer significant savings on a variety of freezer styles and sizes if your current freezer isn't adequate.
- Do you offer food items other than beef pork and poultry?
Yes, fresh-frozen vegetables from our local farms are included in the plans. We also make seafood and pantry items available (at very good prices, because of our bulk purchasing). These items are, obviously, not produced by our local farmers but we monitor the suppliers closely to ensure that they meet our high standards.
